Measured Affairs / Privacy

Privacy starts with not collecting what we do not need.

This page explains the small amount of information this site handles today, including the platform services that help WordPress.com run the pages.

The simplest privacy choice is to ask visitors for less.

Measured Affairs does not operate a newsletter, account area, advertising programme, membership flow or analytics dashboard. The site itself does not ask visitors to submit personal information. WordPress.com, Automattic and their service providers may process technical request data, security data and limited usage information as described in their policies.

What happens today

No newsletter address or account is collected by Measured Affairs. Email correspondence is handled only when a reader chooses to write to the published inbox; it is not submitted through this website. Voluntary email is processed through Gmail/Google and may also be subject to Google’s relevant privacy terms. WordPress.com may set or read cookies and related identifiers for platform operation, security, statistics or service features. The exact behavior is controlled by the platform and may change. Technical request information such as IP address, browser details and timestamps may be processed in server logs or security systems. See the current WordPress.com cookie guidance and Automattic privacy policy for the platform’s current terms.

If the site changes

If Measured Affairs adds a mailing list, embedded service, analytics feature or another data-collecting function, this page will be updated before that function appears. The purpose, provider and relevant handling will be named then.
